Summer sausage in the BDS

4 rack is not tall enough for 20" chubs. Need to talk to my CFO about buying a new toy.

It is actually a block of steel. IMHO, great for retaing heat

I have the OBS and I took a 1X block of wood and put it on the top shelf on edge.  That gives you more height to either hang a bell hanger or you can put your rack on it.  That will give you about 4 more inches and then you will able to use the V-tray.  I have pics if you need to see how I did it.
