Smoked Chicken Thighs for my Diet Meals
« Reply #-1 on: July 12, 2013, 10:36:19 PM »
Trimmed and seasoned.

On the pit skin side down so the chicken bastes in its own juices. Last hour will be skin side up.

Smoking with cherry at 225 degrees.

Thigh temp is 170 and it looks done to me.

Skinned and boned. (very moist)

One thigh per sandwich bag. One bag of protein per meal.

Skip the bread and just eat two thighs. I just lost 50 lbs. over the last six months cutting back and staying away from the breads and other things that add high calories. As a matter of fact, my lunch today was a banana. I was going to have two bananas, but my Golden Retriever likes them as well and I couldn't refuse the look on her face. I got 40 more pounds to go. But moderation and cutting carbs works.
