Just happened to have a tape measure & micrometer in my pocket ::)

Main chamber walls measured 0.16 in ( 3/16) but a lot of the metal in support areas was 1/4 in
Lids 1/4 & have a flange.
On the display tolerances looked good & well built ( just hoping Bubba didn't drop Smokes on loading dock ???
Overall length 5ft & depth 3 foot , will fit in a smaller space.
Drilled & threaded  for thermometer but need to purchase separately.

Thanks LA, those pics give me a good idea of what is coming. Can you believe only 89.00 for freight to ship that bad-boy?

Smoke you also didn't pay sales tax so shipping was effectively $60!
It may not be a yoder but its better built than any smoker I've ever owned or built!
Our homemade ones out if 55 gal barrels or propane tanks tend to leak ........a lot ???
It doesn't seem to effect the cooking but the Wrangler is better built!
It's a great size for the backyard, !

Come to think of it, only a LTBBQ member would happen to have a tape measure and micrometer on him when he goes for a haircut  :D :D

I sure appreciate you taking the time to measure that Wrangler for me LA. I am reaching the sad part of life where the immediate family will be getting smaller and when the dust settles, it will just be me and my lady. This off-set looks like it will be the right size for just one butt or briskie or a couple a slabs of spares.

Thanks LA  :)

Same here Smoke, baby girl is moving today into an apartment closer to school. She has one semester left in nursing school. It's already too quiet here, which is good and bad. Mama is already talking about a new dog  . After Gizmo died she said it would be a long while before she would consider another. But sometimes, silence is deafening!

Sorry to steal this thread..... I do like your offset buddy. You'll be a whiz at it in no time!  8)

Yeah, my youngest boy moved out a couple of months ago. My oldest boy just got a pretty good job, so who knows how long it will take for him to spread his wings. The parents are slowing down.........just part of life...but a sad part.............

Dang, Smoke...I'm gettin' excited for you already.

PLUS...I know I'll learn a lot from you after you get a couple of cooks under your belt.  You think "outside the box", so you'll have some great ideas for me, I'm sure.

B T W, our "nest" has been empty for about 3 years.  I'll be retiring in December...wonderin' what I'll do with all my free time.(right!!)
