Oinken Cluck

Gonna go for the greasiest un-healthy (and hopefully tasty) cook to see if the repairs I made in the Meadow Creek smoker have worked. I have to contact Meadow Creek tomorrow so today is Judgement Day for the off-set.

Had my home-boy in the little Mexican meat market de-bone 3 whole chickens

Each one got seasoned up with different rubs

This one got sauteed red and green peppers and partially cooked bacon strips

This one got a traditional fajita mix and bacon

The last one got sliced pablano peppers and diced white onion and .....yup.....more bacon

They all got some Mexican Ranchera Queso (cheese)

Made a weave out of thick sliced bacon and seasoned them all with different rubs

These were a bear to wrap and they might not hold together during the cook. I used some bands I got from Owens BBQ so we shall see

Here they are..........the soon to be legendary......Oinken Cluck!!

Gonna put em on around noon time....see ya then  :)

Wow! That is really something. What cooking tool are you using the smoker or the Weber?

That looks fantastic without even going on the grill.

I'm waiting for the grand finale.

It is going on the Meadow Creek Ed. I have to contact them tomorrow on the leaking problem. It did not leak last weekend and with this greasy concoction, we will find out today  :)

I had a hasty bake that leaked all over my wife's new pool deck.  it didn't last long.   It sucks when you pay a lot of money for a pit and it leaks and the company tells ya to clean it more.  lol.....  it's gone.

I am shocked that a Hasty Bake leaked. My gal is hanging around today to see if the pit leaks. It is on my parents patio and hopefully next year when we buy the house we are in we will put in a concrete slab and I can tell ya, aint nothing going on it that leaks.

My brother hasn't used his Rec Tec since he got his Yoder so I can always use that if this pit doesn't stop leaking.
