i'm thinking about a kamado joe / egg or maybe a yoder 480 for up at the cabin.  I really want a gravity feed smoker.  my wife says for the price of the kamado I should just buy a 26 kettle and the new 14.5 WSM.  she says your a weber guy so just go w/ it.  well see.  have a b'day coming up at the end of the month.  I am looking to see what black Friday deals come this year w/ pits.   8)

WOW - that chicken looks good. I appreciate your "experiment" and loo forward to the answers. But, I really want to see the results of this cook! Looks to be delicious.

That is perhaps the unhealthiest concoction I have ever seen. It looks great!

Here they are after 4 hours with an internal of 175.

These were insanely good. Chicken was moist, the stuffing was really tasty. The bacon was slightly crispy. Labor intensive to prep but well worth the effort.

The offset was another story, see you over at the product evaluation on this sad story

Very nicely done! I'll bet it tastes as good as it looks. Wonderful dish!
