I know my american friends call them bloody marry's but up here in Canada we call them Caesar's
Wikipedia says ......... A Caesar or Bloody Caesar is a cocktail created and primarily consumed in Canada. It typically contains vodka, Clamato (a proprietary blend of tomato juice and clam broth), hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce, and is served with ice in a large, celery salt-rimmed glass, typically garnished with a stalk of celery and wedge of lime.
So Cheers to all my friends on here, tonight the sun is shining and I am raising my glass to you all.

Bottoms up Devo! :D
I like bloody marias, made with tequila instead of vodka. 8)

Yummm! And it's healthy, because it's made of vegetables, right?

Hey Devo,
It took me a while to get used to Clamato. I've tried dozens of BM mixes (including several of my own.) For some reason this past weekend (my brother and his three boys were here for the Yankees vs. Twins game) it clicked. It might have been the veg I added (some very nice pickles and olives stuffed with garlic, and pickled asparagus.) It might have been the Sam Adams I added to the mix. It might have been the weekend... Who knows - but I am now with you and this cocktail!

Had two of my version tonight before dinner. Clamato with Effen Cucumber Vodka and some jalapeƱo season salt. I think I should have added a touch of the Sriracha vodka, just for some more "kick".

right on man. that was very nice of you. being a old bartender for 10 yrs or so here is the bloody mary I would make for customers on Sundays.
in shaker:
2 dashes celery salt
2 dashes pepper
4 drops of Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. of cold bottled horse radish
1 dash of tabasco
straight tomato juice
1 1/2 oz well vodka or top shelf vodka if it is for yourself
shake well
pour in a Collins glass over ice. garnish w/ pickled hot pepper and asparagus.
pure heaven after a blurry Saturday night. set you ride up. two will make ya happy. ;)
please don't give this recipe out. took me a lot of bloody Mary's to make it just right. 8)

It has been years since I had one. I never liked them, but maybe I'll give it another try. Or maybe I'll just have some milk. :D
