Had to make another road trip down to Arizona today, really didn't want to be on the road on Labor Day, it was nuts out there, people were driving like crazy fools today.
Unfortunately I had to come down to pay my final respect to a good friend I've known since 1981 and worked with when I used to live down here. His life will be celebrated tomorrow then he will laid to rest.
As soon as the services have concluded I'll be back on the road tomorrow afternoon, hope the crazy drivers are off the road for the trip back home.

Ralph very sorry for you losing a friend. It's one thing in life that you can never have too much of.
Be safe buddy!
Say if you have time check out this restaurant, it's excellent!
Richardson's 6335 N. 16th St. Phoenix. 602-265-5886
Haven't been to Rokerij which means smokehouse in Dutch, or Dick's Hideaway. They are run by same people so I'm sure that they are excellent as well!

Stay safe Ralph. Sorry to hear.

Thanks y'all for your condolences, he was a great guy to be around and work with, lots of people showed up for the service. I also got see some people that I have not seen in over two decades since I moved from Phoenix to Vegas.
It was a short trip for me, Vegas is hot enough but Phoenix is even hotter so I drove back home immediately after the services concluded. Made it home by 5:30pm Tuesday evening, really didn't have time to go out and do anything else.

Sorry for your loss. As we get older we start losing more and more of our contemporaries. Part of life. Glad your trip was otherwise uneventful.
