Post by: GrillGirl@cookinpellets on November 26, 2015, 12:37:58 AM
Ingredients
1 pound fresh brussels sprouts
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon (10 grinds) black pepper

Directions
1. Preheat pellet grill to 375 degrees . Line a large baking sheet with foil (for easy clean up).
Or I use Frogmat, http://www.cookinpellets.com/frogmats/, to get the best smoke flavor. But, no browning.

2. Rinse the brussles sprouts, remove outer leaves as needed, cut off the stems and cut in half. Transfer to a large bowl and toss with the olive oil, maple, salt and pepper.

3. Spread brussels sprouts on prepared baking sheet to get them to brown if thats what you are looking for... you will get less smoke flavor. Your chouice.
Or Use a Frogmat. Smoke 30 minutes, check to make sure they are not getting to brown,
turn if needed and continue smoking 10 - 15 more minutes, until tender and well-browned.
I also did these and topped with fresh garlic about 15 minutes before I pulled off and served!!!
SMOKE ON!
