Title: Yellow Springs Brewery
Post by: Smokin Don on March 29, 2016, 11:27:49 AM
I went through Sandman’s carry out to get beer this morning. He said I got something for you and handed me a growler of beer. He said it was from his cousin’s brewery in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It was their Zoetic American Pale Ale.

I said thanks and I may just have to sample this when I get home. I said I usually wait til at least 12:01!
As soon as I got my groceries and beer put away I had to pour a glass to try. It was light in color but a nice full citrus taste and not much after taste like some pale ales leave. Sandman is carrying some of their beer in cans so will have to try it.

The Yellow Springs Brewery has a web site and looks like they brew a full range of different craft beers.
Here is their web site if you want to check it out. http://www.yellowspringsbrewery.com/

Yellow Springs is close to Dayton Ohio.

It's a grlowler Smoke, 64 oz. A co. called Growler Station has a special machine that fills and caps them. They claim it's a perfect way to bottle fresh craft beers. You pay about a $3 deposit on the bottle. Says best to drink in 48 hours; I have no problem with that! :) The Co. started in Irvine CA. There is one about 45 min. south of me and this one. My son brought me a bottle from there. Pretty good beer. Don
