Frozen Chicken Thighs Sous Vide & Finished in the Air Frye
I Vacuum Pack 20 pounds of Chicken Thighs and Legs 4 or 5 to a pack. Chicken was seasoned with Grill Mates Montreal Chicken, Tones Tuscan Garlic, Tones Italian, Smoke Paprika, Chachere's Creole. Added to the bag tbsp of Sriracha and EVOO, one pad of butter, sprigs of rosemary and thyme and two cloves of garlic. Bag were vac pack and frozen in the freezer to be Sous Vide later
Frozen Chicken in Sous Vide at 150 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Pre-heated the Power Air Fryer XL at 400 for 5 minutes, sprayed the pan, put chicken in with thighs skin side down at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Flip and roasted an additional 5 minutes.

Skin came out crisp and colorful with the meat very tender and juicy.

Savannah, when you vac pack the chicken pieces do you draw all of the air out so the bag is drawn tight against the chicken or do you leave a little air in? My Foodsaver draws it up so tight I don't see how it would work in the SV. But I do not have a SV yet so don't know if that would be a good or bad thing. Hope to get one soon. Thx.
