First cook in the Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer. Thought I would try air fried bacon, thought it would be a good indication of hot spots.
I like the basket for frying the food in.

In the fryer at 400*, timer set for 8 minutes

You can see that it is hotter in the front, next batch rotate midway and less time

All in all so far very impressed. good crisp bacon, easy clean up. I can see having a basket of bacon in the fridge ready to go on in the morning, starting it, starting the coffee, frying a couple of eggs and having a good hot fresh breakfast 10 minutes later with minimum effort.

LOL, if you like things limp just give them less time!!
I like crispy bacon, some of the first batch will be used for bacon crumbles on salads. Second batch was perfect for BLT's. This was the paper thin Oscar Mayer Bacon. Can't wait to try the real bacon, either Kirkland or Wright's thick sliced.
