Title: Cookin Pellets Perfect Mix
Post by: muebe on July 03, 2013, 11:04:07 PM: So now I have had some time using the Cookin Pellets Perfect Mix and got to say I am impressed. Although pellet consumption seems to be just a tad bit higher than the Bear Mountain Pellets I was using I am getting a better smoke flavor than I did with the Bear Mountain. I really noticed the smoke flavor with the butts and shoulders I have recently made.

Ash seems to be pretty good. There appears to be slightly less ash than the Bear Mountain Pellets.

And Eric hooked me up with a great price because I did a bulk order. Much cheaper than what I was paying for the Bear Mountain.

This will be my goto pellet for now on ;)

are you getting your bear mountain pellets at cash & carry? and eric's price of the cookingpellets was cheaper? might have to give eric a call. 8)

are you getting your bear mountain pellets at cash & carry? and eric's price of the cookingpellets was cheaper? might have to give eric a call. 8)

beat cash and carry has a good price. If you can beat it can...... :D

Post by: Scallywag on July 07, 2013, 07:48:16 PM: I loved cooking pellets when I could get them from my supplier in Buffalo.. Uses to buy 400 lbs at a time.. Last time I called him he said they weren't selling anymore. It was the only way for me to get them here in Canada Boo!

I picked up a pallet from the Ontario supplier;

My only complaint is they only had the perfect mix, otherwise they were great to deal with.

I will work harder next time to reduce the shipping costs which will improve the sale price we got.
