Sitting on my front porch is a Pit Barrel Cooker provided by those kind folks for us to auction off at the Gathering. I want to thank them and thank Tim for the work he has done to get our super sponsors involved in this event.
If you ain't got 'cha tickets yet it ain't too late... 'specially since there ain't no ticket requirements. Just show up when you can for as long as you can anytime from next Tuesday until the following Monday when we break camp, pee on the fire and call the dogs. It's going to be a fun, relaxed time.
Any questions or comments getting to me by Monday night because beginning Tuesday morning I'm out of the net.

Whoever wins that is very lucky!

Almost worth the plane fare.

If I am there in spirit, can I have a raffle ticket in spirit? ;D
-
sliding--billy, You sure can and you can cook on your in-spirit PBC. ;) Dee

That's a Awesome prize, Pam's been pretty lucky lately :)

If i recall last year there was a pretty tight bidding for a CB cooker.....EH :D
-
Looks like I need to bring some extra cash to the Gathering! ;)

So is this a drawing (attendees get free tickets), a raffle (participants buy tickets) or an auction (participants bid)?
If it's a raffle or an auction who gets the proceeds?
If it's a raffle or an auction can you participate from "off site?"

Turtle, Why you askin' such hard questions? I ain't thought that far ahead. Now I guess I'll haf to and that'll give me a headache. Most likely will be one of them silent auctions where there's a piece of Blue Horse notebook paper there where folks can put their numbers down on it and the highest number gets it. The proceeds will go toward next year's Gathering. Dee
