Monkey bread in a Dutch oven.

Yummy breakfast side dish at our camp site. Biscuits covered with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 17 coals on top and 8 on bottom for 35 minutes.

I would love to see more campfire/dutch oven cooking! If you can encourage some folks here to try dutch oven cooking in a camp fire- we will make a thread section for it.

We use ours mostly for breakfast items and desserts 4 to 5 times per year. Will post pics of our egg sausage and cheese casserole tomorrow.

Your monkey bread looks great..you can vary them with taco flavors, pizza is especially good with cheese melted on top.  Love monkey bread and so easy to make.  Good cook.  Pam   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
