Very Busy Morning At The Feeders
« Reply #-1 on: August 17, 2014, 10:30:53 AM »
Had several humming birds fighting over the feeders this morning. Temp was down to 42°F so maybe thats why they where so active. Tried to get a shot of them fighting but they move so darn fast.

COOL!!  I love to watch humming birds.  They can be really aggressive, too.

Nice Devo, I love watching them. I am seeing them more often now; they may be starting their trip back south. It is next to impossible to get them when they are dueling! Don

It's a long haul from Ontario to Central America,  Guess they are getting ready for the trip.  Activity at my feeder has picked up also.

We have a little one about 1 inch long who guards the feeder like he owns it. Even chases the Downy Woodpecker away.
Had to put up another feeder for the rest.
