As much as we love to cook, sometimes it's nice to sit back and let someone else git it done for us.  Of course, when the bill comes then we think why am I paying this when I can do better at home.

How was the food Rick? They opened a Shane's Rib Shack not too far from us but we haven't tried it yet. We have an abundance of BBQ restaurants so I wondered how a chain would stand up to them.

Was pretty good. They started in McDonough, GA

Gotta say they are better than Wileys bbq on whitemarsh island

How the mighty have fallen.

Not really a great recommendation but at least a step in the right direction.

It is nice to get out and eat. A very rare occurrence at my home since I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Been a few times I have had to leave after enjoying some water due to a child meltdown.

Guess I'm lucky. We have eaten out since mine were babies and they always sat there coloring with those cheap crayons they give out. We've had many strangers tell us how well behaved out kids were.
Though I have felt your pain when we went out with the in-laws and their little ones ;D

My daughter is fine. No problems since she was an infant. Can take her anywhere. My son on the other hand is terrible if he does not get a proper nap though he is getting better now that he is almost 2 1/2. I don't like being "those people" that I used to stare at when I was childless and trying to enjoy my meal at a restaurant. People go to a restaurant to relax and not hear children crying.
