Shrimp and pasta is one of my absolute favorite things to eat.  You hit a nerve with this one.

Simple recipe...

Lots of garlic, olive oil, Thai chilies from the garden in a sauté pan. Garnished with fresh parsley from the garden.

Pasta is not good for your carb load and diabetes but in moderation, it's OK

That wasn't my concern (although it's a good excuse).  I just think pasta is usually a relatively tasteless waste of time and energy - without it I could have more stuff I really like (like the chile-garlic shrimp).
