We are quickly packing a few things and heading down to Columbus here shortly because my son is one of 30 high school band students from across the State of Ohio, to get to play at the Governor's inauguration in Columbus tomorrow!
We are really proud of all his hard work and what he's accomplished as a young musician.
We're heading down now because have an Winter storm heading in tonight/tomorrow morning and want to get down there before it hits, while the driving is good. ;)

Jaxon, me too. When I was in college, I played in a little country/comedy band. We played for LBJ and Lady Bird at a Christmas party for the TV station and radio station that they owned in Austin (KTBC back in those days, KLBJ today). I got to shake LBJ's hand as he was coming out of the restroom. Sure hope he washed his hands.
