Title: Brisket on SRG
Post by: A G K on October 24, 2017, 11:01:43 AM
Is it better to hang or lay flat a point brisket on the SRG? Wondering if the infared penetrates better  hanging or laying on a rack?
  Thanks

I made one laying flat on the half shelf, worked well for me.  Just make you cook low setting the entire time or you will cook it to fast and end up with jerky  ???

Just keep in mind it will cook much faster than low and slow.  So keep an eye on the IT, if getting to much bark you can wrap to finish
