It's done everything I've thrown at it so far.

Good the hear, I read some bad things about it when it first came out.

It's almost like Weber didn't do there home work at all before bringing it out.

I think they were running against the clock when Masterbuilt announced the Gravity Series, and rushed the Smokefire out too soon.

Rexster, how long have you had the Smokefire? Very interested in this pellet grill? Anything that it can’t do? Did you purchase the wet smoke kit for low and slow cooks?

Answered your other post just a while ago.
Yes, bought the wet smoke kit, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. When I did the briskets, I used a drip pan that covers almost the entire grill area with some water in it.
Lots of folks criticize the software/app but I haven't had any problems with the cooker whatsoever. Right now I'm using the Weber pellets cause they were on sale last month, but I've used B&B, Pitboss, Bear Mountain, and Kingsford pellets with no problems.

Did you put the drip pan on the grill or flavorizer bars like the wet kit is designed to do?
Did you purchase the cooking grate?
How does it do with searing steaks? Seems like it could really be a all in one. Low and slow and hit and fast.

Drip pan goes on top of the bars. It covers almost the entire bottom
With the replacement grates, I get a great sear and grill marks.
No, not the cooking grate. I bought these grates from Progrates.com.
