Ok so I have been browsing around the forum and only found one thread on a IGrill thermomter. I was wondering what everyone is using and have used but didn't really work for what ever reason. I have been searching for a nice thermometer with a wireless receiver and every were I look it seems like there are mixed opinions on them. :-\ I have been looking at the IGrill the most. So anyway what is everyone using here? :) Thanks for the help!

I've read great reviews on the Maverick line of remote thermometers. My smoker has a built it digital control (cookshack) so I do not use one myself. However, I do use a Thermapen (thermoworks) to double check the internal temp of smoked butts.

For remote monitoring, I use the maverick ET-732.

At the top of the list for remote access is the Stoker by Rock's BBQ. When setup on your home WiFi you can monitor temperatures with any Smart Phone or graph the cook using StokerLog on a PC. The unit can also be setup for access through the internet where you can monitor from anywhere you have an internet connection.
The Maverick has a food and smoker probes. It is a send/receive radio combo unit which a lot of people like.
The iGrill is bluetooth with 2 meat probes. You access the unit with a smartphone APP.

I have a couple Maverick ET-732 units and a iGrill. The Mavericks are great. I also really like the iGrill. Being able to graph my cooks is a great feature that before was only available on something like the Stoker.

I have been using the same Polder for about 6 years now...my Son broke a lead by slamming a Weber lid on it but all in all it has been very good....

Awesome guy's thanks for all of your answers! I just found out about the Stoker as of last night so now I really feel like a Rookie! I have been grilling and smoking for years but tell I joined this forum the other day I had no idea how much of a novice I really am. :P
