Ok, my Bride and Daughter have 7 days on a beach planned. No wifi, no pellet grill either.
There is a charcoal grill at this beach house however. There will be min 3 adults 1 toddler.
Planing on hotdogs, hamburgers, steaks, chicken. So for 4 cookouts at least till the weekend
And then probably 2 more. No long cooks just short ones.
1) how many lbs should I need
2) preferred method of lighting
You see it's been 30 + years since I've done charcoal.
Sounds like that special if its still on it won't cost very much.
Thanks for the help

20 lb bag should be plenty. If you have a chimney starter use that. Anything but lighter fluid.

Thanks, that's what I go with.

Agree about the 20 lb bag. Just don't load more than you need for any one cook.
