No shopping on Black Friday for me. I work at Academy Sports + Outdoors so I was at work at 3:30am getting ready for the crowds. We opened at 5am and there were a couple hundred people outside. I worked crowd control at the front door for the first wave of people, directing them to the part of the store where the stuff they were looking for was located. It was a pretty good day, we sold a lot of stuff and only had 3 or 4 people that I heard of that were unhappy or unruly.

I did my first BF ever this year...almost, I woke to the alarm at 5 and turned on the coffee, then I layed back down just a minute or so I thought, turned out it was an hour and twenty minutes! Got up anyway and headed off to Bass Pro shop for the half price scope I had my eye on, And some $10 dollar jeans. I managed to get them both but had to return tonight to get the scope mounted and sited in do to all the people. .You could have elected a mayor and called it Bass Pro city limits! with all those folks there. It was a pleasent crowd though.
