My first question is what the heck is a Tommy Ring?

I REALLY want to say that it's an item of jewelry that Kimmie has attached to one of Tommy's body parts and uses to lead him around but I'd get in trouble if I said that so I won't.
Yes that does sound painful. Hopefully it is something else  ;D

Those Saltines look great with that Hogshead Cheese. I could eat a lot of that. Very tasty.

Welcome from Houston.

Tommy (TMB) is our resident SRG and Big Easy expert and is also the inventor of the Tommy ring. He can tell you all about it and should be here soon.

Just joined and look forward to learning from you fine people.
Mostly doing roasts in the Big Easy and smoking salmon when I have them on hand.

My first question is what the heck is a Tommy Ring?

After getting an oil change this morning I went to Terranova's Supermarket, a New Orleans local Italian Grocery  for some good Italian sausage and couldn't resist getting some of their Hogshead Cheese.
So, I'm having that with some saltine crackers and a cold beer.

Super meaty with a nice spice to it!

Oh, and I also picked up one of their stuffed artichokes for later. Mmmmmm.......!!!!!!

Looks good.  When you say Asian green beans, are you referring to what is referred to as 'yard long beans'?  or just the method of cooking. My wife makes something similar with the yard long variety which we grow in our yard.
