It looks like some people are actually having good results with Tenda-Rub

Here is a post from a tailgating forum:

Thanks for the post Cats4ever!  I am a member of the Tenda Rub Team.  Tenda Rub turns out a rib product much more superior to any slow cooked or slow smoked product out there.  Die hard old school grill masters are the hardest to convince.  It's hard for them to believe it even when they see it with their own eyes!

When we demo ribs, we never even open a package of ribs until we get the grill going.  The we get the ribs (usually from inside the store), add a little extra spice to them, and then brush the Tenda Rub on the ribs.  Then we put them on the grill.  In about five minutes the meat starts to pull away from the bone.  In about one hour, we get tender, flavorful, smoky, juicy ribs.  The meat just melts in your mouth.

People resist this new cooking technology like the did the PC and cell phones.

There are no meat tenderizers in Tenda Rub.  It uses the science of the meat, working with the spices to cause the rib to tenderize itself in its own flavorful juices.  The rub is in paste form and this gives it several advantages.  First of all, you get even distribution of spices (unlike a dry rub) so the rib has the same flavor throughout.  The rub also sticks to the meat and continues to go into the rib while it cooks.  With wet rubs (soaking), you throw the rub out after you have soaked it so all your money goes down the drain.

With Tenda Rub, the heat causes a soft flavor seal to form around the meat as the meat heats up.  This seal is just strong enough to lock the ribs juices inside.  Since the rib does not lose its juice, it cannot dry out or get tough.  It tenderizes itself.  Because seasonings like to bond with moisture, it goes where the moisture is. . . inside the rib!

When a rib drips its juice, all your precious marinade goes out of the rib onto the coals.  With Tenda Rub, the flavors are continually sucked inside the rib because that is where the moisture is.

In a nutshell, that is why you get a superior rib in one hour!  The smoke goes into the rib fast also.  You get a nice smoke ring in just one hour if you use wood in the grill.

Tenda Rub is a tailgator's dream.  You can pick up your ribs and your Tenda Rub at the last minute on your way to the stadium.  It makes competition caliber smoky tender juicy ribs every single time.  No guess work!

It is the product of the future (patent applications were filed before the first batch was produced).

Give this Southern University Jaguar some support!  Tailgate with Tenda Rub!

Hey...my apologies...I got caught up in the humorous posts.....I truly was WRONG to even voice an opinion, as a manufacturer of products in this category.

So - I removed my original post

(Sorry Pappy - I should have not said anything...so I "disappeared" this comment...)

It reeks of shenanigans. Most likely Russian or North Korean instigaters. Be careful Smoochy.

Not sure that the park would allow flammable liquids out in the open Pam ;)

You could hide it in a lighter fluid bottle that would be ok it's a sealed container :)
