Bitterballen, deep fried meat & gravy
« Reply #-1 on: August 28, 2015, 10:54:45 PM »
I saw this on Bizarre Foods and would love to try it. Attn: Hub this is right up your alley. These are a thick meat and gravy mix rolled into balls, breaded and deep fried. They are popular in the Netherlands and served with mustard for dipping. Here is a link to a video that shows how to make them. There are a lot of different recipes out there so just search for one that suites you. Don

Traeger 07E pellet smoker
Weber E210 gas grill
Weber Jumbo Joe Charcoal
Camp Chef Pro 30 gas burner
Camp Chef Iron Griddle
Lodge CI Hibachi
Instant Pot Pressure Cooker
I am not aging, just marinating
I think I am starting to age!

I found this recipe on Taste of home I will use, if I ever make it. Looks like less work using store bought beef broth. For the beef I would use ground sirloin and cook first. The ones on Bizarre Foods looked like they were more gravy in the center and not so much meat. Don
