I don't think of the chicken from the PBC and the chicken from the SRG as "equals".....

1. PBC - charcoal fueled. Adds flavor. But without argument - it is not a hi-temp grill or cooker. Nor is it a true smoker. Kind of in-between in a nice way.

2. SRG - faster cooking - by a long shot. But - it's gas folks. No flavor add from that. Yes...the chip box helps...minimally.....but - it is not nor can it ever really be a "smoker"

SO - When I have time - it is PBC chicken. When I have the need for speed...it is the SRG.

Everybody wins!
