I gotta try this in my big roaster oven, with the bird up on a rack..

Squirt - I use one of the oven racks as the rack and place the bird on it, with the drip pan on the other rack beneath...I'm finding this takes advantage of the convection properties in any oven and I get a roasted bird with all the same drippings.  The clean up of the rack is not that big of a deal.   8)
