I was real close to buying one of these in December, but I let the wife talk me out of it.   so, I gotta ask.... How well does this thing work. As I understand, it uses hot air instead of oil?   I might still pull the trigger on one if the reviews are good.
I can't fry with much oil in the house due to my wife's medical condition (with her COPD it gets too hard for her to breath when the air starts to fill with hot oil residue.  So, I'm very curious.

It works just you stated with Hot Air. I would imagine that there is a electric heating element and a fan that gets the temps up to 400 rather quickly. I don't think it's anything fancy but it sure does work. It's a nice alternative to have in the kitchen

Don - this  new toy may be the cleanest way to get fried food taste and texture without a frying pan and oil!  And - remember: Sometimes it is easier to ask forgiveness - than permission......

It's the 5.3 Power Air Fryer XL got it from SAMs Club but its also sold other places and online. I paid $120.00 others have found it for less
