Rotisserie Yardbird
« Reply #-1 on: January 17, 2018, 10:09:26 AM »
I did a 5 lb. chicken in the air fryer last night.
I used the rotisserie feature.

Seasoned with EVOO, salt, pepper, onion & garlic.
Onto the spit & in for 45 minutes @ 370°, then 15 minutes @ 400 °.
(Next time I will crank it up @ 40 minutes to give it a little more color.)

I cooked it until the thigh read 170°

One of the best tasting birds I have ever done.
Very moist breast meat & the dark meat melted in our mouths.
Could have used a bit more color, but the skin was delicious.

Under all that butter & sour cream is a broasted potato.  :D :D

I love cooking outside, but with 7 inches of snow on the ground the air fryer is more than adequate to provide a great chicken.
