How long have I been here?

I didn't know you could use grill grates in the kettle.

Do they reduce flare up?  That's my problem when I try to go direct in the Weber.  Could this be the answer?

GrillGrates work great in a kettle, I have a set on my WSJ and I cook directly over a bunch of coals on them and never have a flare up.  If you don't have a set of GrillGrates get some ASAP, they are a must add to any grill.
