I was in a local bar in Key West many years ago and he was playing there to a packed house.  No cover charge, etc. back then.  I remember the great music, and the smell of something funny in the air.  Great memories I will never forget, and he was a local resident near me.  The Palm Beach Post had a great article on him today, and he really was a humble man.  One story was how he and his son were thrown out of a Miami Heat game, when he called the ref a Parrothead for a bad call.  The ref had no idea of what that meant then.

We went see Jimmy 3 times in STL  2010, 2015, & 2017. They were all a GREAT TIME. We have been in the same house since 1993, at each concert we had a neighbor group of 12 to 20. We would tailgate in a RV from noon to concert time and then after party until the traffic died down.
