It been a while since my cheapness burned me BUT it happened again!
On sale for memorial day found cryo-vac St. Louis style ribs for $2.29/lb & bought a pack.
The saving grace was years ago I got burned on a box of "Danish Ribs " for $1.00/ lb so I only bought one pack!
When I seasoned them I noticed the bones looked big.
Cooked like I always do, smelled & looked good, but we're so tough Lucy ate the bones & left the meat :o
Not really don't give her pork bones!
Just don't buy these unless you teeth are better than mine!

I feel your pain LA...did the same thing a couple of times last year....of course my ribs didn't come out tough....they didn't have hardly meat on em at all :'(

The "MOISTURE ENHANCED WITH UP TO 12% SOLUTION" disclaimer would have stopped me dead in my tracks.
It sucks they didn't turn out for you.

A few months back I purchased some Pork spare ribs also cryo-vac. They were $1.00/lb. NEVER AGAIN. Worse ribs I have ever had or made. They were from HEB. Big grocer here in Texas.
