He wasn't always my cup of tea, but he made a lot of good music over his years.

Yeah...I know BD...I can't help but recall a number of his tunes at some important times in my life. Always ahead ( sometimes strangely... ::)) of the trends...he seemed to use the shock value and curiosity about him to a marketable advantage.

I think it forces a conscious "reckoning" within each of us. None of us are permanent - as much as we think that "the road goes on forever - and the party never ends"....

So- do something positive, fun and or helpful to others today. Whether we are famous in a big way or not - we are all important to someone - even if we do not know it.....So, don't count time...make your time count ;).

Huge loss at our house,Ive seen him I think 3 times in concert.

Blackstar...I hope thats not what he see's his death as,bizarre.

2 of his best back up singers ever,THOMAS DOLBY (Yes,THAT Dolby) on keyboards,wow!!

Me too.I liked and miss Freddy Mercury,a talent lost too young.I miss him.

Bowie is different,he was a constant in my life from teens to grampa.From my highest highs to lowest lows,always Bowie.Yep,its a crushing loss for me,Im really feeling this one.
