Reminds me of what book keepers in businesses wore over their white shits back in the 40's - 60's. :)

I really don't have an issue with my forearms, it's my hands. Most cooks don't have hair on their hands...'cause it's been burnt off. I'm a hairy guy, hands included but you can tell I'm right-handed as my left hand is hairy but my rightie is bald!
The coals seem to burn it off as fast as it grows! :D
But if you bake a lot I could see where this could be useful.

I agree the hands are key but in my case the arms also
