Title: NOT TRYING TO START ANOTHER TREND!
Post by: HighOnSmoke on February 07, 2017, 05:03:42 PM
As the title says I am not trying to start another buying trend for cookers or accessories. So
having said that we got tired of cheap blenders that either break or burn out. So I dug deep
in the pockets and purchased this one:

It is the Vitamix Creations II with a 48 ounce wet container and a 48 ounce dry container.  It came
with accessories and books you see here. I picked it up at QVC.

We are not giving up BBQ cooking but we are trying to eat healthier, thus the air fryer and now the
blender. I know that neither one of gets the amount of fruits and veggies we need in our diet and
even with the diet my wife has for her thyroid cancer (in remission) we still don't. So since both of
us like smoothies and other creations this should do the trick. I didn't get to just make smoothies.
Heck I could have got something for a lot less money if that was the case.

Nice equipment Mike and Pappy too! A friend of mine has one, the first model I believe,  anyway it's over 30 years old. Still chugging along. So you guys should get may years of use from these.

Can you really drown the taste of spinach in a smoothie?  :D

We eyeballed that blender on QVC.  They had a great combo pack with it at a good price.

I hope y'all use it in good health.

I do love my Vitamix.
Mine stays in the bar & that's mostly what I use it for.
Actually I have had good luck with my Ninja also. But I haven't had it nearly as long as the Vitamix.

Have seen those demonstrated at Costco and they are amazing. So far they haven't made the budget cut yet. Congrats.

If there is any blender that is as rock solid and trusted as the good ol Weber kettle it's the vitamix.  LOVE LOVE LOVE mine.  Nothing she can't handle. No seriously it's a lawnmower with a pitcher on top basically. Also a couple real good sauce recipes that you can whip quick in the recipe book that comes included.
