Sparky, you need to ask? I only have 3 grills that I have not modified the Weber spirit, Visions Ceramic and the Blackstone Pizza Oven. Everything else has been modified doesn't bother me one bit! Lol!

Haven't used it yet Pam so I'll need to let you know. The reason for the one below the top vent is for when I'm indirect using the slow sear so the other one will be above the charcoal so it will read higher
