Gracie, staring intently at the Traeger.  (smoking a turkey at the time)

And our newest addition, Katy. (short for Katya)

She's stuck inside for a while until we get some more meat on her bones, and she learns to defend herself. (the big girls tend to give her a hard time when we aren't looking)

Is Katy a Russian Blue??

Along with a few other things, yes.     That's where the Russian names started.

It was Boris and Natasha..   That Boris vanished this summer.    Katy followed MrsSTC home on Halloween and promptly 'adopted' us.

Here is Boris and Natasha when they first came home with us in '09.    He's in "Sputnik" mode here, as he kept chewing on his stitches.

Katy is a mirror image of them.

We have a bunch of cats that stay in the house. We are way over the legal limit on how  many animals one can have.  Let's just say it's in double figures.  My wife doesn't think they should ever go outside and they don't.  I have learned what battles to fight and this ain't one of them.  She has a big soft spot in her heart for animals and particularly cats.  Additionally, every night she drives 8 miles downtown Augusta to feed four stray cats there.  Dee
