Title: Got Me a Snake!
Post by: Cajunate on June 21, 2021, 10:07:35 PM

Well, I found one I wanted and got it! It a beauty too. A Custom Shop Colt Python .357. Just need to find the time to get to the range with it now. Oh there may be one problem. Now I want the Anaconda in .44 Magnum and a Diamondback in .22 LR. Lol...... That WILL happen in the not too distant future!!!

Beautiful pistol. But....you also need a GOOD gunsmith that is a COLT trained guy. They do some things to build Colts that are.....different. And that can complicate things when you need service. Great pistols, just not as easy to work on as an S&W, or similar.

Beautiful, I shot many rounds through one of those back in the day. If you get the others you will have a fantastic collection!

12 years owning a gun shop and I only ran across 2 Pythons in the condition of yours. Should have kept them both, but the offers were too good to pass up. Nice piece Cajunate!

Thanks guys!
I think I have a problem........... I used to have a lot of grills and smokers along with other outdoor cooking vessels. Now my addiction has turned to Colt handguns. Lol.....

I have another Python coming in on Monday. Like collecting grills, Colt Pythons are an expensive hobby. Actually a much more expensive one.

Cajunate, you're not alone in the addiction dept. My business partner and his grandson have an ever expanding collection of 1911's. They just added two more, a matching pair.
