Title: Nabbed a Good Deal

I have been wanting a bigger, true commercial grade slicer for a while now and kept looking, watching ebay, Craig's List, etc.


I finally nabbed this a few weeks ago for $350 - Used, but in pretty nice condition.


12" Anvil America SLR7012 - 1/2 H.P. Commercial Slicer w/built-in sharpening stones.

Two of the feet got damaged in shipping, so I will probably replace them all. Otherwise, I got it pulled it apart, cleaned up and the blade sharpened.

New they listed for $2300. I saw a couple others in similar shape, going for the $800 - $900 price range.

What a score!!  That will bring many pounds of goodness to the proper thickness.  I hope your vacuum sealer is up to the challenge.
