Hi All,
I have been searching for an adaptor so I can use my K thermocouple type meat probe in my MAK.
(http://i1180.photobucket.com/albums/x412/lmh8/image_zps4a7242c0.jpg) (http://s1180.photobucket.com/user/lmh8/media/image_zps4a7242c0.jpg.html)
Has anyone found anything out there?
Thanks,

Great question. I have he same probe. Would be nice to use it with my Mak

Attempt this at your own risk. I will not accept liability for this. MAK is the experts and they ultimately will know what works. I do not know enough about the MAK to know exactly what hardware they are using, but here's my shot at making an adapter:
First off, assuming your Thermocouple is a mini-k type, get the female sider here: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_34&products_id=325 (http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_34&products_id=325)
Then you will need thermocouple wire: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_35&products_id=169 (http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_35&products_id=169)
Lastly, Assuming that is a 1/8" headphone stereo headphone jack, you'd need one here: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_35&products_id=169 (http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_35&products_id=169)

I'm pretty sure the MAK uses a thermistor which uses resistance whereas the thermocouple uses voltage, apples and oranges. I say this because my Thermoworks thermometer sensor is a thermistor and it has the same resistance as my MAK probe when checked with a multimeter.

Maybe MAK can assist in putting one together for us? That way it will be tested.

MAK uses the K-type thermocouples on the 4 Star Pellet Boss.

You had to say 4 Star. That thing is a work of art.
