Most forums run from 1- 10% active members & 90 + % "lurkers"!
We need 200 members minimum to get things interesting!
We have lots from the charbroil forum , but need a more varied group!
Invite your friends! We don't have a corporate feeder ( both good & bad)

Once we get that 200 or so number - I will go after some sponsorship - but we will never be beholding to an individual manufacturer.
The idea is to sell some banner space at the top of the page- but not ever have the site cluttered with ads. This will allow manufacturers to advertise a bit, and have their own board for Q and A's, new product announcements, etec. But - the forum belongs to us, the folks that actually cook ;).
If we can just make the site pay it's way, pay the admin for some of his time and much appreciated effort ( THANKS RICK!) - and perhaps help fund a few get togethers....well - that is the plan.
But - back to LA's point..we need membership to build content. And- that memberships needs to post things, and be willing to participate some. No pressure - we are just looking for folks that like to cook outdoors, are open minded, and amiable.
T
