Title: British Green thermapen
Post by: Pam Gould on August 28, 2013, 06:31:33 PM
I just got a phone call from Thermoworks.  I just won a brand new British green Thermapen for the month of August. I should receive it by Monday. The guy said the 1st two winner didn't call him back. I think someone up there likes me. I'm so excited, nothing like winning to lift your spirits. It should look good with my green and pink ones. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ

Yes, unfortunately, it is not as fast as the Teal model which performs at Ludicrous Speeds.

Congratulations, Pam. As you well know - British racing green IS the fastest. Just like my old Jag - oops that was red... oh well, you know what I mean.

Pam,  Well deserved.  My MGA would have been racing green but it was painted light blue instead.  Dee

Three Thermapens?  Overkill for most but I guess you need them all since you don't have a faster, more accurate red one.

For years I used a traditional bi-metal thermometer in the kitchen... and then I got a ThermaPen. Don't know how I cooked without it.

I liked it so much I bought a dozen of them for all of my cooks.

It's a great product.

I'm looking at getting the backlit version for outdoor cooking (so I don't need to hold a Maglite in my mouth)!!

I strongly recommend using the Thermapen for cooking!!

The new ChefAlarm is really cool also... will be a great replacement for the Polder-type units.

Waiting to try out the wireless version too.

I use one for home and one for the campground because I kept taking one here and there and leaving it...go figure me forgetting to bring it back home. Old age kicking in. This is a nice surprise. It will probably be a gift, seeing how I have already bought 2 other ones for gifts. I really like the people/family.  Ya gotta admit, it is a nice gift.  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ
