Title: Is that a Pound?
Post by: RAD on September 15, 2013, 06:54:30 AM
I was at Publix yesterday and saw the NYS on sale for 7.99/lb. Not bad I thought to myself and asked the butcher to give me one about 14-16 oz’s. He looked at me and asked “Is that a pound?”  :o ???

I guess I'm going to have to write the head honcho of Publix and ask him why they are letting Auburn graduates work around the area of the store that has sharp instruments.

The last time I saw one of their two diplomas( they get two at graduation: one is to put on the dash board so they can park in handicap parking places) it said they were qualified to use three pieces of equipment without direct, visual supervision---a mop, a broom, and a dust pan.  However, they are authorized to work without direct, visual supervision after attending the one week school on how to say, "Do you want fries with that?"
