my daughter wants to get into bbqing more but she wanted her own weber kettle.  she wanted something that no one else has cooked on.  she went w/ me to the bbq store to look for a gas grill for her and she seen the pretty blue kettle.  daddy, can I have that so I can cook next to you?  what dad can say no to their little girl?  not me.  kids, when the h#ll are they moving out.  ok.  it is a nice kettle.  none gas model.

Sparky, the family that grills together. ..stays together!

That is a nifty little grill you got her. I hope she has fun cooking next to the old man.

What a good Dad! One of the better purchases for your kids. Now all you have to do is supply the "encouragement" and "suggestions". They can be very creative on their own.

Nice little smoker for yourself. Now you can have dualing Weber Smokers side by side cooking different things.

Good job!

If she hasn't already learned a few of your trade secrets, she will now.  Remind her to "mind the Master"!  A lot to be learned from you Dad.

I can't say no either.....beautiful grills

That charcoal storage thing on the performer is actually handy for stuff. I use mine for grill grates, charcoal tongs, gloves and the like. But I don't use it for charcoal.

I've had my Performer for about six years (also blue, but with gas starter).  It'll cook anything you want it to  ;D

Great job Sparky!!! Ain't nothing like cooking (or any other activity) with your kids. Father of the Year..maybe decade!!

Like Ted Nugent always says.....
"Take your kids Barbecuing....and you won't be bargecuing your kids!"

At least I think that was it! :P
