As you know, the weather is always beautiful in Hawaii. Well, almost always. We've had a bunch of wind and rain over the last week (up to 11 inches a day on Kauai) but not too bad where I live... until this morning about 4:30. The ensuing 2½ hours was the worst I have ever seen - 30+ mph wind, over an inch per hour of rain, and 1½-2-inch hail (plus a waterspout down the road). No real damage here except for the gazebo top out on the deck. Glad it wasn't snow, but still...

Glad your not hurt Big Guy! But you still live in a place most of us will never see so your are blessed.
Now come to Bama and live through a few pesky tornados! ;D

Not for me, thanks. The waterspout was close enough...

Wow, after that type of storm it is good to see your damages were very minimal!!

We have a son who lives on the big island. He'll be there for life. We go quite often. Love the weather, even in the rain.... We were there when the hurricane was approaching.... 7 day cruise. Phil

Last time I saw hail here was when I lived on the Big Island (back in the 70s). Anyway, if you get "stuck" on Oahu, gimme a call.

Saw video of this on the news tonight... That waterspout did move inland as a tornado! Yikes!

I saw something on the news about all of that....crazy weather for Hawaii! I trust you had the liquor cabinet well padded to protect any precious contents?
