OMG! That is a thing of beauty. I am salivating and I just finished eating one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Wicked nice.

That's the way that I remember meatball subs. When I was in Connecticut. They called that a
" Grinder" Sandwich. That's the way its done.

Jarrod called....he said that Subway is very jealous and thinking of sueing to stop you from ever making them again!! No one is going to want one of their imitation subs after seeing this masterpiece..awesome job!

Impressive - those are definitely better looking than any I have ever made.
Funny story about meatball sandwiches - when I was in college, we had a weekly seminar in which the students and post docs would present their work. Bringing lunch was allowed. One of the post docs was presenting his work concerning "membrane bound vesicles". My buddy and I were in the front row, and were eating meatball sandwiches. During his presentation the post doc uttered the words "membrane browned vesicles" ;D
He was quite embarrassed because the department faculty were all present (they all noticed, and some smiled). Naturally, my buddy and I never let him forget it. ;D
