Title: Proud of my Boy
Post by: Smokin Don on February 01, 2014, 04:56:43 PM
We are pretty proud of our only grandchild Gavin Quin. He is in the third grade and a straight A student.
Here he had just came in from playing with a friend close by. Earlier he had gotten his hair cut so I took this photo. Grampa approved this haircut. One time he came in with it spiked and dyed red! I didn’t approve but told him it looked good, I could remember having some wild haircuts when I was young.

After he found we were having chicken, potatoes and cheesy broccoli he said he would stay and eat with us. And he loves peas!!!  ;D Don

Good looking boy.....peas and all.

My 3rd grade son started saying he wanted to grow his hair out.  No idea where this came from. I now pay bribes for haircuts

Great hair cut
My son turned 10 in Nov. and it seems that long hair is back in style. My grandson who is older than my son by 3 years also sports the long hair style. Where as me ....balding on top just discovered the brush cut  ;D

"....your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. "

Don, I bet the boy stayed for more than peas!

Grampa probably does his best to instill some wonderful thoughts and dreams into the boy.

He will have great visions and your dreams for him will become a reality.

I too am blessed to have gran kids.

I know y'all are proud of him.. handsome young man. We have seven, I think, the youngest is 8...they sure grow up fast. He is lucky to have a grandpa to teach him about barbequing.   ;)
