With Tee carrying the unicorn across the store, I kept expecting to be intercepted by store security.  Didn't happen.  As soon as Tee saw the stuffed animals, you could see and hear the wheels turning.  He said, "Follow me!"  And the rest, as they say, is history.

I think Tee really wanted to buy the purple unicorn and take it home.  I believe Roscoe and Ellie Mae would have destroyed it in a New York minute, however.

They may have "looked purple" (through blood shot eyes) in the morning after a night of heavy drinking.  Just saying'...
