Does anyone have a good source for a good food safe bucket for brine and cure?

I have seen food safe plastic buckets and lids at Lowe's recently as well. They are labeled as food safe containers.

As soon as I posted this I saw on the net about asking a bakery for buckets. I called Publix and they said yes we have buckets :D and yes you can have them for free ;D, we just toss them away.

I didn't know if I should clean them or lick them  ???

I rinsed with hot water and now have two of them in the dishwasher.

I went looking all day and not finding anything to having three nice buckets with lids for free. Score  ;D

I purchased two ,of different sizes, from this site.  Also picked up food safe buckets from menards with twist on locking covers

Look up "The Briner".  They come in two different sizes.  I have both and are very handy for brining everything from salmon to chicken parts to whole turkeys.

Great score,no freebies here.Winco also carries them along with the screw top lids that are really nice.Put lid on loosely and great for making CLEAN sauerkraut!

You can buy the pickle buckets from Firehouse subs for about $5 iif you have one near you.
Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.
